Lanzhou hand-pulled noodles (la mian) is perhaps the most technically secretive of all Chinese noodles. Learn about the history, craft, and science of Lanzhou la mian in my 2 hour class. My classes are intimate and can usually accommodate up to 20 people per session. Classes can be held at your preferred location.
You’ll 
- Learn how to make and knead your dough from scratch 
- Learn about the history of Lanzhou, its regional cuisine, and the science of la mian. 
- Practice how to pull and stretch dough 
- Learn how to pull 3 types of noodle sizes 
- Cook then enjoy your noodles with condiments (provided by your instructor) 
- Leave with a take-home noodle making kit
